Not a quick drive. A real one. Across the Henday. Up to the Whitemud area. Into parts of the city that have nothing to do with where you live, where your kids go to school, or where you grocery shop.
And when you got there, you handed your dog to someone who had no idea who they were.
GroomLab exists because that shouldn’t be the experience.

We chose Heritage Valley specifically — right in the middle of Windermere, Chappelle, Allard, Callaghan, Rutherford, and MacEwan — because this is where the dogs are and this is where the people who care about their dogs are.
SW Edmonton is growing fast. These neighbourhoods are full of young families, active households, and dogs who are genuinely part of the family. We built GroomLab for those dogs. And for those families.
What We Actually Believe About Grooming
Grooming isn’t just a cosmetic service. It’s health maintenance.
A dog whose coat is properly maintained:
- Is more comfortable in every season
- Has fewer skin issues caught later when they’re harder to treat
- Experiences less stress at appointments because they’re not already uncomfortable
- Lives their daily life — walks, play, cuddles — without physical irritation from mats, overgrown nails, or dirty coats
We take that seriously.
We don’t rush appointments to fit more dogs in. We don’t cage dry dogs in a way that causes anxiety. We don’t move on to the next dog when the current one isn’t ready. Patience is part of the job — not a bonus feature.

Real communication After every appointment, we can tell you how your dog did, what we noticed, and what to watch for. We want you to feel good about where you’re bringing your pup — every single time.
